The winery is located in the municipality of St. Magdalena near Bolzano in the area of South Tyrol (Alto Adige) in the Italian region of Trentino-South Tyrol. The residential house and the cellar of the Glögglhof date back to the 13th century and wine has always been pressed there from the associated vineyard areas. The Glögglhof has been in the family for many generations, but it has been inherited several times on the mother's side, which is why the surname of the owners has changed several times. The farm was transferred from Anton Gojer to his son Franz Gojer in 1982. His son Florian is responsible as cellar master

The vineyards comprise five hectares of vineyards owned by the company and 2.5 hectares leased in the Furggl, Karneid and Rondell areas. They are planted with the white wine varieties Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Kerner, as well as the red wine varieties Vernatsch (completely on pergola) and Lagrein. The cultivation is carried out according to environmentally friendly criteria with complete renunciation of herbicides and mineral fertilization. The yield-reduced grapes are selectively hand picked. The processing is carried out gently by using the natural gradient. Mucilage removal is only carried out by sedimentation and cooling. Some of the white wines are fermented spontaneously with contact with mash

For the white wines Kerner is aged in steel tanks, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Blanc ~20% fermented in barrique. They are stored on the fine yeast until May of the following year. The fermentation of the red wines takes place in steel tanks with stirring of the mash, the ageing is done in large wooden barrels, with the exception of Lagrein Riserva in barrique. Premium wines are Weißburgunder Karneid, St. Magdalener Rondell and Lagrein Riserva. A speciality is the "PIPA XII" from Lagrein, produced in vintage port style. Around 55,000 to 60,000 bottles of wine are produced annually, some of which are exported to European countries, the USA and Japan. The winery is a member of the associations Freie Weinbauern Südtirol and FIVI (Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti).
