Flucht-Achterl

Colloquial term used in Austria for the last glass of wine consumed in a pub before going home (the escalation is "Panik-Achterl" or also "Katastrophen-Achterl" and other similar, imaginative names). This corresponds to the Trollschoppen common in the German Palatinate. See also under Achtel.
