Dragon bead

The grape variety possibly originates from Russia. The parentage is unknown. However, it is possibly identical with the Longyan variety (with the synonym Dragon's Eye). It is said to have been introduced to China from Russia as early as the 7th century during the Tang Dynasty. It is mostly used for the production of table grapes or sultanas. In any case, no stocks were reported under this name in 2016 (Anderson).
