DOC area for white wines, red wines and rosé wines in the Italian region of Tuscany (Etruria is an ancient landscape in central Italy) The zone is identical to the Chianti DOCG area and includes the six provinces of Arezzo, Firenze, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato and Siena. It was created to allow Chianti producers to produce other wines as well.

The Bianco is produced from Trebbiano Toscano (to the 50%), as well as other authorised varieties (max. 50%, of which max. 15% red varieties). Rosso (also known as Novello) and Rosato are produced from Sangiovese (50%) and other authorised varieties (max. 50%, of which max. 25% are white varieties). In the case of Rosso, the indication "Vermiglio" (bright red) is also permitted on the label.
