DOC area (also Olevano Romano) for red wine in the Italian region of Latium. The zone includes the entire municipality of Olevano Romano and a part of the municipality of Genazzano in the province of Roma. The wine is made from with the two varieties Cesanese di Affile and Cesanese Comune (to the. 90%), as well as other approved varieties (max. 10%). It is aged in secco, amabile and dolce. There is also a sweet , a more alcoholic and a longer matured . Two other Cesanese areas are (DOCG) and (DOC).
