The zone includes the entire municipality of Olevano Romano and a part of the municipality of Genazzano in the province of Roma. The wine is made from Cesanese with the two varieties Cesanese di Affile and Cesanese Comune (to the. 90%), as well as other approved varieties (max. 10%). It is aged in secco, amabile and dolce.
