DOC area for red wine in the Italian region of Lombardy. The zone covers five hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Brescia, Cellatica, Collebeato, Gussago and Rodengo-Saiano on hillside sites in the province of Brescia. If the grapes come from classified vineyards, Vigna may be indicated followed by the vineyard name on the label. The wine (also called Superiore) is blended from Berzemino = Marzemino (to. 30%), Barbera (to. 30%), Schiava Gentile (to. 10%) and Incrocio Terzi 1 (to. 10%), as well as other authorised varieties (max. 10%).
