Cassianus Bassus (late 6th to early 7th century), a native of Bithynia (Asia Minor) with the surname Scholastikus (lawyer), compiled a collection of extracts from various writings on agricultural topics entitled "Eklogai peri georgias" (collection on agriculture, Latin "Eclogae de re rustica") from 30 works by ancient authors, some of which have been preserved and some lost. This was the basis for the geoponics that emerged in the 10th century.
For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
