Cassady

The white grape variety is an open-pollinated seedling of an unknown variety of the species Vitis labrusca. Synonyms are Arcott, Arnott and Arrott. The vine was discovered and selected in the USA in 1852 by the eponymous breeder H. P. Cassady. The high-yielding vine is suitable as a table grape. It was a crossing partner in the new variety Niagara White. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
