Bricco

A term commonly used in the Italian region of Piedmont (also Bric) for the top of a hill. In particular, it refers to a vineyard located on a hilltop with a steep slope. Bricco is also often used in wine designations. Other designations for qualitatively outstanding areas are Colli, Ronco, Serra, Sori and Vigna. A list of keywords relevant to vineyards can be found under vineyard area.
