Producer description of "Boutari"

One of the largest Greek wine trading houses with headquarters in Thessaloniki in the region of . The company was founded in 1879 by Ioannis Boutaris and is now managed in the fourth generation of the family by Constantine Boutaris and his daughter Marina. Today, it consists of six wineries in and another one in France. In almost all Greek wine-growing regions there is an ownership of vineyards. The wide range of products includes around 40 labels of country wines and quality wines, including of course the Greek speciality . The annual production is around 13 million litres of wine, about half of which is exported to 45 countries worldwide (half of which to Germany).
