The wine and fruit estate is located in the municipality of Langenlois
in the Lower Austrian wine growing region of Kamptal
. It specialises in the care and pressing of old and rare grape varieties and in the distillation of apricots and grapes. The vineyards cover only 0.7 hectares of vines, which are planted with the varieties Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Zweigelt and Blauburger, as well as the rarities Isabella
and Queen Elisabeth
. A noble grape spirit is distilled from the latter variety. Another speciality is a Riesling brandy from 1929, which was bottled in 1937, stored in a closed cellar cavern until 1993 and newly corked this year. A sweet dessert rosé wine is made from the Isabella variety (table wine). Apples and apricots are cultivated on 0.25 hectares.
