Astrology (Greek astrologia' interpretation of the stars) is the interpretation of connections between astronomical events or constellations and earthly processes. According to modern standards, it is not a science and is therefore regarded as a pseudoscience. The wine author Rudolf Knoll has written the book "Wein Astro - Wein und Sternzeichen" (Wine Astrology - Wine and Zodiac Signs), in which he describes surprising connections and insights into wine habits, suitable wine varieties and wine astrological affinities. For example, Taurus turns out to be a wine conservative, Virgo demands perfection and Gemini loves variety when it comes to wine. The secrets of each zodiac sign's wines and character traits are revealed. Vintage wines are also illuminated in connection with the Chinese horoscope and year of birth.
