The white grape variety with reddish berries probably comes from Peru. The origin or parentage (parenthood) is unknown. Possibly there is a relation to the variety Ar99. It is cultivated in the region of Tacna in the very south. In 2016 one hectare of vineyard area was declared (statistics Kym Anderson).
