The winery is located in the municipality of Efringen-Kirchen (Markgräflerland area) in the German wine-growing region of Baden. It is managed by Hanspeter Ziereisen. The vineyards cover nine hectares in the single vineyard Ölberg (Efringen-Kirchen). They are planted with the red wine varieties Blauer Spätburgunder, Syrah and Regent, as well as the white wine varieties Gutedel, Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. The vines are generally used for more than 30 years. The quality criteria in the vineyard are elaborate foliage and vine work, strict yield reduction, as well as a sharp selection of the grapes as prerequisites for healthy and high-quality grapes.
