The winery is located in the municipality of Tadten, near the Hungarian border in the Burgenland wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee (Austria). It has been managed by Josef Wurzinger since 1991, who converted the formerly mixed farm to viticulture and fruit growing. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vines in the vineyards Kreuzjoch, Oberzick and Unterjoch. They are 60% planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and 40% with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Natural viticulture is practised. Only healthy and physiologically ripe grapes are harvested by hand and checked again afterwards.
