Woschek Heinz-Gert

The German wine expert and journalist Heinz-Gert Woschek made a name for himself through regular columns in the magazine "Essen & Trinken" and as the author of numerous wine books. In 1981 he founded the magazine Woschek's Wine Report, which was followed by the magazine in 1982. As publisher and editor-in-chief he succeeded in making it one of the leading wine magazines in Europe. In 1987 Woschek received the Austrian for his achievements as a wine journalist. Among his most famous works as author and co-author are The Wine - History and Stories over Millennia (1985), The Great Wines of the World (1988), The Wine Book - The Comprehensive Guide to the Great Wines of the World (1991), The Book of Wine - All about the World of Wine and the Wines of the World (1994), Wine and Architecture - A Wine Travel Guide for Architects and Wine Lovers (2011).
