Vins avec Indication Géographique

French term for "wines with protected geographical indication", introduced by the EU market organisation that came into force in August 2009. This includes the new wine designations AOP (Appellation d'Origine Protégée) and IGP (Indication Géographique Protégée). The second group are Vins sans Indication Géographique (wines without geographical indication). See the quality system.
