The winery is located in the municipality of Lengenfeld in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kamptal. The name is a combination of Vino (Italian for wine) and the initials of the company's founders Herfried Kuna (who has been working in viticulture for over 30 years) and Florian Subosics (a graduate of the agricultural college with a personal focus on "organic farming"). During the construction of the new production hall in passive energy construction, mainly natural, carbon dioxide-neutral materials such as wood and straw were used. The energy for cooling the tanks and heating the building is obtained through heat exchange with deep wells. The entire operation is bio-controlled and certified. Only biologically sound and GMO-free materials are used in production. Only the white wine variety Grüner Veltliner is processed. The various Grüner Veltliners are fermented and matured in steel tanks and bottled as quality wine of Lower Austria in 0.75-litre, half-litre and 1.5-litre magnum bottles.

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
