The winegrowers' cooperative with headquarters in Noussa in the Greek region of Macedonia was founded in 1984. The 220 members produce about half of the total production of the appellation Naoussa. The cooperative itself cultivates 23 hectares of vineyards, which are planted with Xynomnavro (20 hectares) and Merlot (3 hectares). A part of them is farmed organically by experiment. The members mainly supply Xynomavro, as well as small quantities of Roditis, Merlot and Syrah. The large product range includes various red, rosé and white wines OPAP Naoussa (quality wines) and Topikos Oinos (country wines). The wines are exported to a total of 26 countries worldwide, including many European countries as well as the USA and Canada.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
