The former Landweinbereich (VdlT) in the Spanish region of Castilla y León was classified as DO in 2008. The vineyards cover 780 hectares of vineyards in the province of Zamora. The red wine varieties Tempranillo, Garnacha and Cabernet Sauvignon are permitted, as well as the white wine varieties Malvasia, Moscatel de Grano Menudo (Muscat Blanc), Verdejo, Albillo, Palomino and Godello.
