Seewinkel

Popular name for the Austrian wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee in the province of Burgenland, because it nestles at an angle to the lake. Since the 2021 vintage, the indication of the narrower origin "Seewinkel" has been permitted for DAC wines if the grapes come from the municipalities of Apetlon, Illmitz and/or Podersdorf.
