IGT (Land wines)area for white, red and rosé wines in the Italian region or on the island of Sardinia. It includes vineyards in the municipalities of Bosa, Flussio, Magomadas, Modolo, Sagama, Suni, Tinnura and Tresnuraghes in the Prince of Oristano. Grape varieties authorised in the region may be used. Varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety in question, up to 15% may be other varieties. For the wines, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed differently for each wine type, but no maturation periods.
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
