DOC area (also Terracina) for white wine in the Italian region of Latium. The zone is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea between Naples and Rome and includes the three municipalities of Monte San Biagio, Terracina and Sonnino in the province of Latina. The Bianco is produced from Moscato di Terracina (zum. 85%), as well as other authorised varieties (max. 15%) in secco and amabile. There is also a sweet Passito and one made from 100% of the variety Spumante.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
