The winery is located in the municipality of Weinolsheim (Nierstein area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. The traditional family has been growing grapes since 1725. Today, Erich and Eric Manz are the eighth generation of the family to run the winery. The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Herrenberg and Sackträger (Oppenheim), Hipping (Nierstein), Kehr (Weinolsheim), Kreuz (Dienheim), Kranzberg (Dalheim), Schloss (Uelversheim) and Steig-Terrasse (Guntersblum). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Gewürztraminer, Huxelrebe, Kerner and Ortega, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir, Blauer Portugieser and Dornfelder. The grapes are processed very gently after selective harvesting.
