The winery is located in the municipality of El Vendrell in the Spanish DO area of Penedès (Catalonia region). Its origins date back to 1914, when great-grandfather Josep Jané founded a wine trade. Grandfather Albert founded the first bodega in 1930 and acquired the main bodega in El Vendrell. Today, the estate is run by father Benjamin Ventura, assisted by his sons Albert and Gerard. The vineyards comprise eight hectares of vines on Finca Els Camps with Macabeo vines over 50 years old, and another seven hectares on Finca Mas Vilella in Bisbal del Penedès. The white varieties Xarell-Lo, Macabeo, Muscat and Subirat (Alarije) are cultivated, as well as the red varieties Ull de Llebre (Tempranillo), Cariñena (Carignan), Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. For the aging process, 200 barrique barrels are available, most of which are made of French, American and Hungarian oak. The still wines are produced in the three lines "Young wines" (Blanc, Rosat), "Matured wines" (Vinya Palfuriana, Margalló) and "Estate wines" (Finca Els Camps, Mas Vilella). Cava is also produced.
