The French association "Haute Valeur Environnementale" (High Environmental Value), based in Charenton-le-Pont (Val-de-Marne department), was created in 2018 by six professional organisations involved in the implementation of this system. The association brings together all stakeholders (production, processing, distribution, local authorities, agricultural extension actors) to share their expertise and participate in the large-scale deployment of High Environmental Value agriculture. High environmental value is developing at a considerable pace and involves an ever-increasing number of sectors, with the inclusion of downstream (processes for separating and purifying fermentation products) and distribution.
