The quality assurance system "Food Safety System Certification 22000" is an internationally recognised standard for ensuring food safety in food production. It combines the requirements of ISO 22000, Food Safety Management Systems, with preventive programmes from the ISO/TS 22002 series of technical specifications (food production, mass catering, agriculture, food packaging production, feed and animal feed production) or PAS 221 (food retail) or NTA 8059 (transport and storage) and some additional requirements. FSSC 22000 has been recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) as equivalent to the other approved procedures (such as the IFS (International Featured Standards) and the British Retail Consortium standard). For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
