Franzhauser

Situated in the municipality Klosterneuburg in the Lower Austrian wine growing region Wagram. The wines from there were sold during the monarchy to the k.k. Court after Vienna delivered. The vineyards are situated on a steep slope at the south-eastern slope of the Buchberg. Only Riesling is cultivated on weathered limestone and loess. The Klosterneuburg Monastery Winery, for example, has a share in the vineyard.
