The "ebner" vineyard (historical farm name) is located above the small wine village of Atzwang (municipality of Ritten) in the southernmost Eisack Valley in the Italian wine-growing region of South Tyrol ( Trentino-South Ty rol region). A Buschenschank is attached. The farm is run by Brigitte and Florian Unterthiner, the third generation of the family. The vineyards cover 4.5 hectares of vines on sandy-loamy, calcareous and porphyry soils at 450 to 550 metres above sea level. They are planted with the white wine varieties Weißburgunder, Grüner Veltliner, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Blauburgunder, Vernatsch (Schiava) and Blauer Zweigelt
