The vineyard "ebner" (historical farm name) is situated above the small wine village Atzwang (municipality of Ritten) in the southernmost Eisack valley in the Italian wine growing area of South Tyrol (region Trentino-South Tyrol). A "Buschenschank" is connected. The winery is run by Brigitte and Florian Unterthiner, the third generation of the family. The vineyards cover 4.5 hectares of vineyards on sandy-clayey, calcareous and porphyry soils at an altitude of 450 to 550 metres above sea level. They are planted with the white wine varieties Pinot Blanc, Grüner Veltliner, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Vernatsch(Schiava) and Blauer Zweigelt
