Desmaurin

This company is the only cognac house to have obtained permission from the BNIC trade association to use the term "Très Vieux Cognacs" as part of its brand name. This is the highest quality designation of a Cognac ("Account 06"). The company's products are bottled in plain, cylindrical bottles sealed with wax corks. There are three qualities each from the Grande and Petite Champagne ranges. These are a "Napoleon" from Grande Champagne (matured for at least 10 years), an "XO" (matured for at least 20 years) and the "Très Rare (at least 35 years) and from Petite Champagne the "Premier Consul" (at least 8 years), a "Napoleon" (at least 10 years) and an "XO" (at least 18 years).
