Cocolubis

Other name for the ancient vine variety Biturica; see there.

The ancient red grape variety (also known as Balisca or Cocolubis) was mentioned by Pliny the Elder (23-79) and is named after the tribe of Biturigers, who settled near Bordeaux in the 1st century AD. It is said to have been imported there from present-day Spain....
