The winery is located on the Plateau de la Magdeleine in the area of Saint-Émilion (Bordeaux). The owner is viscount Patrick de Lesquen. The estate is classified as "Grand Cru Classé", which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover nine hectares of vineyards planted with Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (25%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). The long-lasting red wine is aged for 18 months in barriques that are one third new. The second wine is called "Les Ailes de Berliquet".
