The winery is located in the municipality of Pozzol Groppo (province of Alessandria) in the Italian region of Piedmont. It was founded in 1998 by Paolo Carlo Ghislandi; the first wine was bottled in 2004 and marketed in 2008. The cellar master is the owner, the oenologist Mario Maffi is in charge. Great attention is paid to the balance of the ecosystem by using renewable energy in the supply of water, electricity and heat. The cellar is furnished according to the most modern standards. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vines and only our own grapes are used. They are planted with the red wine varieties Barbera, Croatina, Freisa, Albarossa, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Ancellotta, and with the white wine varieties Cortese, Timorasso, Favorita (Vermentino), Malvasia di Candia (Malvasia Bianca di Candia) and Moscato.
