Burg Ravensburger Löchle

single vineyard in the municipality of Sulzfeld (Kraichgau area) in the German wine-growing region of Baden. It lies between the two vineyards Burg Ravensburger Dicker Franz and Burg Ravensburger Husarenkappe. The name is derived from a peculiarity of the Burgberg at this location, a depression (hole) in the terrain. The south-facing vineyard with a slope of 15 to 30% covers 6.5 hectares of vines. The shallow soil consists of gypsum keuper, limestone and claystone. Riesling, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc are cultivated here. The vineyard is solely owned by the Burg Ravensburg wine estate.
