It was alreadydescribed by the Austrian ampelographer Hermann GoetheGoethe Hermann (1837-1911). The early ripening vine tends to trickle .It used to bewidespread in South Tyrol (Italy). Today it is only cultivated in small quantities by a few wineries, for example Gummerhof , Mayr-Nusser and Unterortl , but no stocks were reported in 2016 (Statistics Kym AndersonAnderson Kym).
