Bergle

single vineyard in the municipality of Lehen (Breisgau area) in the German wine-growing region of Baden. The south-facing vineyard at 250 metres above sea level with a slope of 10 to 25% covers almost nine hectares of vineyards on Jurassic shell limestone and loess loam soil. The varieties cultivated here are Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau and Pinot Gris. The vineyard is solely owned by the Schätzle Bernhard winery.
