Avidan

The small boutique winery is located on Kibbutz Eyal, six kilometers northeast of the city of Kfar Sava in the Sharon region of Israel. It was founded in 2000 by Shlomo and Tsina Avidan. The grape varieties Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Pinot Noir, Petite Sirah and Merlot come from different locations in the Judean Mountains. Most of the wines are matured in French and American barriques for up to 24 months as cuvées and varietal wines. The red wines are not filtered. About 30,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
