Weinbauring Franken

The Weinbauring Franken e.V. is a self-help organisation of the Bavarian winegrowers with headquarters in the town of Kitzingen am Main. The activities of the association extend to the German winegrowing region of , as well as to the Bavarian part of the winegrowing area at Lake Constance and along the . The aim of the institution is the environmentally friendly, quality-oriented viticulture in Franconia. The tasks are information and support of the Franconian winegrowers and winegrowing enterprises, financial support in the areas of soil investigations for appropriate fertilization and control of soil-borne pests, support in winegrowing and cellar-economic questions, collection and distribution of information (newsletters and lectures), consulting information through operation of weather stations as well as investigations on winegrowing questions.
