Vinopolis

The "Vinopolis - City of Wine", the largest wine museum in the world, was opened in London in July 1999. The complex of more than 25.000 m² contains everything worth knowing about the big world of wine. The tour can be done in form of a multimedia tour, this is supported by a CD in six different languages and leads through all major wine regions of the world. A room is dedicated to each country, providing information on the different grape varieties and wines in the appropriate ambience, from the ripening process of a vine to the subtle differences between the different types of wine. At the end, five free samples from a selection of over 200 wines can be tasted and also purchased in a shop.
