The winery is located in the municipality of Illmitz in the Burgenland wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee (Austria). The estate is managed by Christian Tschida. It produces 60% red wine varieties and 40% white wine varieties. The vineyards are on average over 35 years old. The vines are stimulated to root very deeply in the soil through sophisticated soil cultivation. As a result, the grapes are particularly taste-intensive and strongly influenced by the character of the soil. In principle, a spontaneous fermentation is carried out, which sometimes lasts up to two years. The wines are aged in many different containers such as glass balloons, stainless steel tanks, large wooden barrels and barriques. Among the premium wines are the white wine "Laissez-Faire" and the red wine "Domkapitel". Fine brandies, vinegar, grape juice and jam are also produced. The winery is a member of the Club Bâtonnage association.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
