The "Sektkellerei Solter" with its headquarters in Rüdesheim am Rhein in the German wine-growing region of Rheingau was founded in 1984 by Helmut Solter. The vineyards cover six hectares in various individual locations in the communities of Assmannshausen, Geisenheim, Lorch and Rüdesheim. They are planted with the varieties Riesling (50%), Pinot Noir (35%), Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Black Riesling (Pinot Meunier), Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. The sparkling wines produced exclusively according to the Champagne method are produced in the Brut or Extra Brut range.
