The winery is located in the municipality of La Morra in the province of Cuneo in the Italian wine region of Piedmont. For a long time, the old-established family business supplied the grapes mainly to merchants and cooperative wineries. In 1992 the company was taken over by Daniela and Mauro Veglio and converted to self-production and self-marketing. Among other things, rigorous yield restrictions were introduced with the aim of improving quality. The vineyards cover 11 hectares of vineyards in the two municipalities of La Morra and Monforte. About half of the production is Barolo DOCG red wine, produced in the four varieties named after the vineyards: Arborina, Castelletto, Gattera and Rocche. The product range also includes the DOC wines Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba and Langhe, as well as the VdT red wine cuvée L'Insieme. Around 55,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
