The winery is located in the municipality of Lavis north of Trento (Trento) in the Italian wine-growing region of Trentino. At the beginning of the 1950s, Martino Zanoni entered the business as a sharecropper, which he acquired in 1971. Today it is run by son Marco Zanoni with oenologist Francesco Polastri as an external consultant. The vineyards cover 4 hectares of vines, 3.3 hectares in Pressano and 0.7 hectares in Martignano, at an altitude of 290 to 440 metres above sea level. They are planted with the white wine varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Traminer and Manzoni Bianco, and with the red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. After several attempts, in 2002 we succeeded for the first time in creating an application for the press that allows the white wine grapes to be processed in the absence of oxygen. This protection against oxidation was patented. The product range includes three DOC wines Trentino (Traminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay), as well as two IGT wines (Manzoni Bianco, Cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot). Between 15,000 and 17,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
