Lambiccato

Historical term as a protected designation of origin (PD O ) for Italy for one of the types of wine in the Castel San Lorenzo DOC area. It refers to the particular production process whereby Moscato grapes undergo maceration at a controlled temperature in containers traditionally known as "lambicchi".
