Heiner & Kreuzberg

The winery is located in the municipality of Dernau in the German Ahr wine region. It was founded by Hermann-Josef Kreuzberg, his two sons David and Michel Kreuzberg, and Joern Heiner. The vineyards comprise eight hectares of vineyards in the individual locations Pfarrwingert (Dernau), Trotzenberg (Marienthal), Schieferlay (Neuenahr) as well as Rosenthal and Silberberg (Ahrweiler). They are planted to 85 with the red wine varieties Spätburgunder, Frühburgunder, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Riesling. The red wines are fermented spontaneously and aged in large wooden barrels or barriques. Some of them are bottled without filtration. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. If you are interested, wine tours are organized.
