Farana Noir

The red grape variety originates from Algeria. Synonyms are Farana Lekhal, Farana Lekheal, Farana Noir de Medea and Farrana Noir. It is used as table grape. Farana (Faranah) is a synonym used in Algeria for the white grape variety Damaschino from Italy; nothing is known about a possible relationship.
