The winery is located in the municipality of Frickenhausen-Linsenhofen (Remstal-Stuttgart area) in the German wine-growing region of Württemberg. It is owned by Hedwig and Helmut Dolde, who is a biology and chemistry teacher at a Filderstadt grammar school in his main job. The vineyards cover 1.5 hectares of vines in the single vineyard Schloßsteige (Neuffen) on the edge of the Swabian Alb. The site, which lies at an altitude of up to 528 metres above sea level, is one of the highest vineyards in Germany. The varieties Riesling, Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are cultivated. In addition to wines, noble brandies, sparkling wines and bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
