The winery is located in the municipality of Dittelsheim-Heßloch (Wonnegau area) near Worms in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. It has been family-owned since 1913 and is now run by the fourth generation, Sascha Dackermann. The vineyards cover 10.5 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Hasensprung and Stein (Bechtheim), as well as Edle Weingärten and Liebfrauenberg (Heßloch). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Albalonga, Müller-Thurgau and Huxelrebe, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. The goal of quality-oriented cultivation is expressed in the company motto: "A good wine is made in the vineyard and not in the wine cellar". The estate also produces bottle-fermented sparkling wines, semi-sparkling wines and noble brandies (yeast). The winery is a member of the Rheinhessenwein e.V. association.
