The "Bodegas Bretón Criadores" winery is located in Navarrete, ten kilometres from Logroño in the Spanish Rioja sub-region of Rioja Alta . It was founded in 1983 by a group of businessmen and winemakers led by the builder Pedro Bretón. The vineyards cover 106 hectares of vines. More than 6,000 barrique barrels made mostly of American and also French oak are available for ageing. Among others, the brands "Alba de Bretón" (100% Tempranillo), the red single-vineyard wine "Dominio de Conté" (Tempranillo, Graciano), the red "Loriñon" (85% Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta, Graciano, Mazuelo), the white "Loriñon" (100% Viura) and the red single-vineyard wine "Pagos del Camino" (100% Garnacha Tinta). Just under half of the production is exported.
