The winery is located in the municipality of Puebla de Sancho Pérez (Badajoz province) in the DO Ribera del Guadiana in the Spanish region of Extremadura. It was founded in 1959 by Casimiro Toribio. The vineyards are located at an altitude of around 640 metres above sea level in the Matanegra sub-region. They are planted with the red wine varieties Tempranillo and Garnacha Tintorera (Alicante Bouschet), and the white wine varieties Macabeo and Cayetana Blanca. The wines are aged in American and French oak barrels.
